Men's Breakfast

  • Three Chopt Presbyterian Church 9315 Three Chopt Road Richmond United States (map)

Join us for the  Men’s Breakfast on Saturday, May 16 at 9 am at the church. It’s our final breakfast before the summer break, and we’d love for everyone to come – men, women, and youth! Please RSVP to  Martin Walker at walk10809mw@gmail.com.

Our speaker, Ben King, will share the fascinating history of the Military Order of the Purple Heart. Ben, a Richmond native, bravely served following the events of September 11. He will talk about his experiences as a Psychological Operations Sergeant in Iraq, where he was wounded in combat and honored with the Purple Heart. Currently, Ben serves as the Virginia Department Commander of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, a distinguished organization comprising individuals wounded or killed in action while serving in the US Armed Forces. In this role, he is committed to preserving the legacy of the Purple Heart – America’s oldest military decoration for valor and sacrifice, established by George Washington in 1782. Ben also serves as the Director of Operations at the Virginia War Memorial, where he plays a key role in honoring veterans, sharing their stories, and fostering a deep connection to the true cost of freedom.

We look forward to seeing you there!
