Christian Nurture Programs

At TCPC we have a variety of fellowship, small group, and educational experiences that make up our body of Christ. We offer Faith Building for all ages on Sunday mornings. For adults, there are also Bible study, activities, and friendship opportunities throughout the week. For youth, there are monthly activities and summer trips. For children, there are weekly and monthly chances to learn, sing, and have fun together. We invite everyone of all ages to find their connection in the body of Three Chopt.

Youth Sunday School - Sundays at 10 AM
We offer a Bible Study class on Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM for 6th - 12th graders. In this class, students learn the Bible and life application through creative teaching, discussion, and art. Some years, we also offer a Confirmation Class. In confirmation class, students are taught the principles and practices of the Christian faith and what it means to be a Presbyterian.
This class meets during the school year and pauses during the summer.
Adult Sunday School - Sundays at 10 AM (between services) or 11 AM (first Sunday of each month)
Adult Sunday School (formerly LIFT - Living In Faith Together) is an intergenerational program that meets between Sunday services and after service on One-Service Sundays. This fall, we'll start with a study on the book of Revelation.
Adult Sunday School meets during the school year and pauses during the summer.
Youth Group - Sundays at 12 PM
Youth Group Gatherings are a time for students to come together, learn, and grow with youth advisors. Youth in grades 6 - 12 meet most Sunday afternoons from 12-1:30 PM at the church from September – May. Please contact us for our current meeting schedule.
Throughout the year, youth will also participate in mission experiences, trips, and fun activities.
Tuesday Morning Bible Study - Tuesdays 10 AM
Tuesday Morning Bible Study meets every Tuesday at 10 AM in the Conference Room at TCPC. This fall, we will start with a study of the parables.
This study meets during most of the year and takes a small break during the summer.
Men’s Bible Study - Wednesdays at 9 AM
Men’s Bible Study meets every Wednesday at 9 AM in the Parlor at TCPC. Join for ongoing study and fellowship. We are currently studying the book of Acts.
This group meets year-round.
Prayer Shawls - Wednesdays at 1 PM
We gather to knit or crochet prayer shawls to share with anyone who needs the comfort they can provide: a tangible symbol of being wrapped lovingly in the arms of Jesus. Every shawl is created with love and sent in prayer. All are welcome to join, novice to experienced knitters or crocheters alike!
If you know someone who would be comforted by a prayer shawl, shawls are available in the commons outside of the sanctuary doors. Simply take one and add the recipient’s name in the book provided or contact us to have a shawl delivered.
This group meets year-round.

Men’s Breakfast - 9 AM, every 3rd Saturday
Men’s Breakfast meets monthly for a shared meal and program featuring guest speakers. We welcome men, women, and youth to attend! Please RSVP HERE.
This group meets during the school year and pauses during the summer.
Next Meeting is Saturday, September 19th.
Young Adult Group - 3rd Fridays at 6 PM
Young Adults is a group of 25-40+ year olds who meet monthly on the third Friday at 6 PM, either at the church or another location.
Throughout the year, activities will vary.
Afternoon Book Club - 1:30 PM, every 3rd Thursday
Afternoon Book Club meets once a month for fellowship and discussion over a shared read.
This group meets during the school year and pauses during the summer.
Cornerstone Monthly Luncheon - Second Wednesdays, Morning
Cornerstone meets monthly to gather for conversation and community. The luncheon features coffee hour, a guest speaker or discussion program, and a delicious lunch to follow. This group meets during the school year and pauses during the summer.
The schedule is as follows:
