Henrico Christmas Mother is a volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to provide food, new clothing, books, toys, and other gift items to qualifying Henrico County families with children, seniors, and adults with disabilities – a tradition that began in 1942. Food relief constitutes 40% of our program cost. In 2025, we served 4,696 individuals, including 2,493 children and 885 seniors and adults with disabilities. We achieve our mission through strong support from the community: financial gifts, donations, and over 700 volunteers annually.
